1. On 20.05.2025, following order was passed:-
“1. Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438 Cr.P.C.), is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed hereunder:- Name of Petitioner (s) FIR No. Date Section(s) Police Station District Sunita Chandla 115 05.05.2025 108 BNS Sohana SAS Nagar
2. By reading the contents of the suicide note, which is produced in the FIR, counsel submits that there was, in fact, a financial transaction between the petitioner and the deceased-Navchetan Singh. To demonstrate the said fact, he submits that two cheques bearing Nos. 776542 dated 03.01.2019 and 776565 dated 23.07.2019, for amounts of Rs. 5 lakhs and Rs. 5.60 lakhs respectively, were encashed in the bank account of the deceased-Navchetan Singh, by the petitioner. 3. He further submits that a blank cheque filled with an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs and signed by the deceased, Navchetan Singh, is currently in possession of the petitioner as security and the same has never been presented to the concerned bank for its encashment. 4. He also submits that though not true, yet the worse case which the prosecution can make out against the petitioner is that the Rs.10 lacs, which was AMANDEEP GOSAIN 2025.08.07 09:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

transferred by the petitioner in the bank account of the deceased in January 2019 was being demanded by the petitioner and same cannot be termed as an act of abetment, constituting an offence to force Navchetan Singh to commit suicide. 5. Thus, prays for grant of concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in the present case. 6. Notice of motion. 7. On advance notice, learned State counsel puts in appearance on behalf of the respondent – State, and seeks some time to file status report. 8. Adjourned to 06.08.2025. 9. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required to do so by the Investigating Agency. In the event of her arrest, the petitioner shall be released on ad-interim bail, subject to her furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer.
The petitioner shall also be abide by all the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 10. Besides,
the
petitioner
would submit/surrender her passport before the Arresting Officer and an undertaking on oath that in case of leaving the Country, she would seek prior permission from the Investigating Agency/concerned Court.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in compliance of the
order dated 20.05.2025, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation, and has fully co-operated.
4. Ms. Gurpal Kaur Dulat, Advocate, puts an appearance on behalf of the complainant, and files her Vakalatnama, which is taken on record.
5. Learned State counsel on instructions, confirms the said averment and submits that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner would not be required now for the purpose of investigation.
6. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
7. Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, custodial interrogation is no more required, present petition is allowed and ad-interim order dated 20.05.2025, passed by this Court is hereby made absolute.

However, petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
8. Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.
