This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of regular bail to the petitioner Saibur Rahman Laskar in respect of PRC No.162/2023 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hailakandi. 3. The present petitioner, his sister and some other persons were charge sheeted in a case under Sections 302 and some other sections of the Indian Penal Code. 4. After a long effort, the court below could procure the presence of the present petitioner. His sister is still absconding. The case is not yet committed. 5. I have heard the learned counsel of both sides in the light of the materials available with the record. 6. The grounds upon which the present bail application has been filed, are not at all relevant at this stage. The case is pending since 2023. The sister of the present petitioner has been evading arrest. The conduct of the present petitioner is very bad. 7. For the aforesaid reasons, the petitioner is not entitled to be released on bail. Therefore, his bail application is dismissed and disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
