JUDGMENT : (per Mr. G. Narendar C. J.)
The hearing was commenced by the learned counsel for the petitioner raising concerns about the security of the devotees visiting Holy Dhams/religious sites.

On perusal of the prayer, it is apparent that the petition seeks to achieve objectives other than

2 security of the devotees. Neither the prayer nor the pleadings relate to security or well-being of the devotees visiting Holy Dhams/religious sites. The petition appears to be more publicity oriented, rather than in the interest of general public. Hence, writ petition stands rejected.

Notwithstanding the dismissal of the writ petition, we permit the petitioner to submit a representation to the competent authority concerned, as the relief sought may also require legislation. If, any such representation is made within six weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of within twelve weeks thereafter.
