Case No. 192 of 2024 arising out of Bariatu P.S. Case No. 175 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B) A, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-III, Ranchi. 3. On 06.06.2023, at about 06:00 p.m., son of the informant namely Tanvir Ahmad was shot dead by unknown persons. Suspicion has been raised against the accused persons and petitioner that they might have committed the murder of the deceased. After more than two months from the occurrence, statement of one Pritam Kumar Singh was recorded in which he has stated that the petitioner and co-accused persons had fired at the deceased. 4. Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that prosecution has not been able to explain the delay as to why this witness has kept silent for two months. It was further submitted that Pritam Kumar Singh has instituted one criminal case prior to this occurrence against the petitioner and other co-accused persons. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused Abhishek Kumar Mallick has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 10827 of 2024. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-III, Ranchi in connection with S.T. Case No. 192 of 2024 arising out of Bariatu P.S. Case No. 175 of 2023. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
