The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.36 dated 23.02.2025, registered under Sections 109(1), 333, 115(2), 126(2), 351(3), 190, 191(3) and 117(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station Amargarh, District Malerkotla. 2. At this stage, on oral request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the offence under Section 238 of BNS is ordered to be added in the headnote as well as in the prayer clause of the main petition. 3. Vide order dated 28.05.2025, passed by this Court, the petitioner was granted interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 4. Status report by way of affidavit filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. Keeping in view the above mentioned facts and circumstances, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 28.05.2025, granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 (analogous to Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure).
