Petitioner participated in a selection held by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, however, he was declared unsuccessful in preliminary examination and, therefore was not permitted to appear in main examination. 4. According to the petitioner, due to erroneous question asked in preliminary examination, petitioner could not score enough marks for qualifying in the preliminary examination, which submission has been disputed by counsel for the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. 5. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned Counsel for Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, however, submits that the selection was held in 2017 and thereafter many more selections were held from time to time. He further submits that all the vacancies, which were advertised in the selection in question, was supplied on the result of the selection and the selected candidates have not been impleaded as party respondent in the writ petition. Thus, 2025:UHC:7120-DB he submits that the relief, as claimed in the writ petition, cannot be granted at this belated stage. We find substance in the submission made by learned counsel for the Commission. 6. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. (Subhash Upadhyay, J.)
