1. Heard Mr. M.K. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P. Sarma, learned standing counsel, Fishery Department and AFDCL, appearing on behalf of all the respondents. 2. By a Communication dated 23.08.2022 issued by the Managing Director, Assam Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd. (AFDCL in short), the petitioner was settled for running 129 No. Haria Dablong Meen Mahal of Morigaon district. Thereafter, the petitioner deposited an amount of Rs.35,27,680/- and also executed the Agreement on 09.08.2022 with the AFDCL. In the said Agreement, Clause-9 provides that the 2nd party can develop the Meen Mahal with own expenses only with the permission of the 1st party. 3. As the running of 129 No. Haria Dablong Meen Mahal of Morigaon district was settled with the petitioner on 23.08.2022, the petitioner made a representation before the Managing Director, AFDCL, Guwahati/Respondent No. 3 on 06.06.2024 praying for necessary permission for digging and development of 129 No. Haria Dablong Meen Mahal of Morigaon district with his own expenses in terms of Clause-9 of the Agreement dated 09.08.2022. The grievance of the petitioner, in the present writ petition, is that his representation dated 06.06.2024 is yet to be considered and disposed of by the respondent No. 3 till date. 4. Mr. P. Sarma, learned standing counsel, Fishery Department as well as AFDCL, submits that this writ petition can be disposed of by giving a specific

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 3 to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 06.06.2024 within a period of 2 (two) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 6.
