THE PETITION BEING REFERRED TO LOK ADALAT, COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION, THIS DAY, THE LOK ADALAT PASSED THE FOLLOWING: 3 CONCILIATION ORDER Petitioner-along with learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent-claimants along with their counsel are present. 2. After prolonged negotiations, matter is settled. The parties have agreed to compromise the case for a total sum of Rs.4,00,500/- (Four lakhs five hundred rupees only), towards full and final settlement including the amount deposited before the Trial Court as per the order of this Court in Crl.RP.No.100219/2025 (Rs.1,72,500/-) and also as per the direction of III Addl. District and Sessions and Spl. Judge, Dharwad in Crl.A.No.42/2023 (Rs.1,15,000/- and the remaining amount of Rs.1,13,000/- is paid in cash today to the respondent No.1(Deceased)/legal heir of complainant has acknowledge the same. A joint Memo is filed on behalf of the parties to this effect. Same is taken on record and accepted. 4 3. The legal heirs of complainant/Respondent are entitled to withdraw a sum of Rs.1,72,500/- deposited before the Trial Court as per order passed by this Court and the earlier amount of Rs.1,15,000/- deposited before the trial Court is already withdrawn by the respondents. 4. On payment of the amount aforesaid the entire transaction between petitioner and respondents shall be closed and the petitioner shall be discharged of his liability and acquitted of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the NI Act. 5.
