Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 146/2024. Corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case no. 13/2024, registered for the offence under sections 467, 468, 471 of the IPC, Sections 47(a), 52, 55 of the Excise Act, and Sections 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge under N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau. On 12.04.2024, premises of the petitioner was raided by inspector of police cum officer-in-charge, Medninagar and on search several bottles of liquor and 380 grams of cannabis were recovered from there. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of small quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
