In the present writ petition, the petitioners are praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant the benefit of re-fixation of pay scale w.e.f. the year 2000 as has been granted to the similarly situated counterparts of the petitioners in pursuance to the order dated 7.8.2009 passed by this Court in CWP No.7272 of 2000 (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide their legal notice dated 21.1.2025 (Annexure P-12), in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners undertakes to supply the copy of the writ petition to the learned State counsel during the course of the day.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide their legal notice dated 21.1.2025 (Annexure P-12), submitted by the petitioners within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
