JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: “1. Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the final selection list to the post of stenographer vide order dated 22.07.2022 passed by respondent No.1 as per Annexure-A insofar as selection of respondent No.2 is concerned. 2. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 to appoint the petitioner to the post of the stenographer in terms of notification as per Annexure E. 3. Issue such any order writ or direction that this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and circumstances of this case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 and the learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2. 3. The learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1, before whom the petitioner is now seeking employment, submits that the petitioner himself is now appointed in the Family Court, Raichur, and is working. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:18027 WP No. 103783 of 2022 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner, though would seek to contend with vehemence that the very appointment of the second respondent is contrary to law, would submit that he would leave the decision to the Court in the light of the petitioner also being appointed in the Family Court, Raichur, as a stenographer. 5. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose the subject petition in the light of the petitioner also being appointed in the District Court at Raichur. Ordered accordingly.
