GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B V L N CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION NO:2851 of 2025 O R D E R: This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents more particularly respondent No.2 and 3 herein in not acting upon the report dated 05.02.2024 made by the petitioner against the unofficial respondents i.e. the respondents 4 to 10 as illegal, arbitrary and also oppose to the verdict of the Apex Court in Lalitha Kumari Vs. State of Utter Pradesh consequentially direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to act upon the report made by the petitioner dated 05.02.2024 under receipt by acting against the respondents 4 to 10 herein for their illegal acts forthwith and to pass….. 2. Heard learned counsel representing Sri V.Sai Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader for Home on instructions would submit that Police/R3 did not receive any report from the petitioner. 4 4. Considering the same, the petitioner is at liberty to present a fresh report to the Station House Officer i.e., R-3, and on presentation of report, R3 shall take necessary action as per due process established by law, on the said report. 5. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that the matter can be disposed of at the stage of admission without going into the merits of the case. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a liberty to the petitioner to present a fresh report to the Station House Officer i.e., R-3.
