By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.4 to reinstate the service of the petitioner as Home Guard in the department. (b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 4 to take needful decision on the claim of the petitioner." 3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since petitioner has already replied to the show cause notice dated 18.03.2025 on 08.04.2025 the may be directed to be disposed of by the District Commandant of Home Guards, Hathras/ respondent No. 4. 4. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in case reply of the petitioner to the show cause is directed to be decided by the competent authority in the matter. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with the direction to the District Commandant of Home Guards, Hathras/ respondent No. 4 to consider reply of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 to the show cause notice dated 18.03.2025 and decide the matter as expeditiously as possible within a period of two months from the production of certified copy of this order.
