The petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent, Development Authority, to allot exclusively G.T.- A/50 in the name of the petitioner and land No. G.T.-A/51 in the name of his brother Sohan Pal in pursuance of allotment letter dated 15.10.2020. 2. It seems that the aforesaid allotment was made by the respondent, Development Authority, in lieu of the acquired land and its policy regarding allotment of developed plot to the affected persons. According to the petitioner, the aforesaid two plots were jointly allotted in the name of the petitioner and his brother Sohan Pal. The area of both the plots is same i.e., 72.50 square meters. The petitioner has deposited the development charges and other amount in respect of one plot whereas his brother has deposited the requisite amount in respect of the other plot. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner made request to the Authority to allot one plot exclusively in his name and the other one to his brother Sohan Pal, to avoid any future dispute. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent, Development Authority, very fairly states that the said request of the petitioner would be considered by the Authority. 5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of by providing that the representation of the petitioner dated 04.04.2025 filed in this behalf be decided by respondent No. 2 by a speaking order after hearing the petitioner and his brother Sohan Pal within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
