Petitioner before this Court is legally wedded wife of respondent. A divorce petition under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act was filed by the respondent. During pendency of the said petition, the petitioner had moved an application 47-C requiring the respondent to give the details of the property and his annual income, which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said application. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to the respondent, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon Principal Judge, Family Court, Allahabad to decide the application 47-C in Case No.488 of 2020, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
