The petitioner- Sachchidanand Bera @ Sachida Nand Bera @ Sachhida Nand Bera is in custody since 21.01.2023 in connection with Bahragora P.S. Case No. 04 of 2023 arising out of N.D.P.S. Case No.61 of 2023 for the offence registered under Sections 20/22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act pending in the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatsila. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected on different dates and lastly on 13.09.2024 and the same is being renewed on the ground that similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail and the petitioner is in custody for more than two years. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that the trial is at the verge of conclusion as the case is posted for defence evidence. I do not find any change of circumstance for renewal of bail application. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.) Anit
