Section 6 declaration is declared as a nullity and non est. Resultantly, the entire proceedings of the acquisition concerning the petitioners’ lands is declared to have been lapsed. Needless to say, the authorities are at liberty to issue fresh notification for acquisition of the land, if they are desirous of acquiring the subject property. There shall be no order as to costs.” 4. A perusal of the order would indicate that no specific direction has been given by this Court to pay compensation other than setting aside the land acquisition notification. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to pursue their remedies before appropriate forum. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________ JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI Date: 30th December, 2025 RKS
