GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV RC,J W.P.No.2531 of 2024 3 ORDER The Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the respondent authorities in withholding the payment of second and part bill amount of Rs.1,60,04,473/- in respect of the work of Upgradation of Link road from Agraharam Reddivaripalle to Moogalamarri and Upgradation of Link road from Agraharam Reddivaripalle to Nimmanapalle-Vayalpad Road (Aramadaka), Madanapalle Assembly Constituency, Chittoor District. 2. In para 3(D) of the counter filed by the Superintending Engineer, PR Circle, Chittoor, it was stated that the petitioner has completed the works and out of the gross value of the bill of Rs.1,82,88,950/-, after the statutory recoveries of Rs.24,77,395/-, the outstanding net amount payable to the petitioner is Rs.1,58,11,555/-. 3. Ms. Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader prayed to grant six (06) months time to the authorities to pay the admitted amount to the petitioner. 4. Sri Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava, learned counsel for the petitioner, reported no objection for receiving the amount stated in the counter and for granting time as sought for by the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the authorities concerned to pay to the petitioner the admitted amount of RC,J W.P.No.2531 of 2024 4 Rs.1,58,11,555/- within a period of six (06) months from the date of receipt of copy of the amount. The petitioner is at liberty to agitate his claim regarding interest and balance amount before a competent civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
