Writ Petition (S/B) No. 370 of 2019 filed by petitioner challenging the judgment rendered by Central Administrative Tribunal was disposed of with a direction to Director, Central Soil and Water Conservation Research and Training Institute to re-examine petitioner’s claim for temporary status, as per the scheme framed in 1993, and it was provided in that order that if it is found that petitioner is entitled for temporary status, then he shall be given such status from due date with consequential benefits. Petitioner has alleged willful disobedience of the said order dated 17.03.2025, passed in Writ Petition (S/B) No. 370 of 2019. 4. Learned counsel appearing for respondent has drawn attention of this Court to the order dated 17.07.2025, which is enclosed as Annexure-2 to the contempt petition. Perusal of the said order reveals that petitioner’s claim for temporary status was considered and rejected by holding that he was never engaged for 240 days or more in a year. 5. Since the direction issued by Division Bench of this Court has been carried out, as is revealed from the aforesaid order, passed by Chief Admn. Officer (Sr. Grade), Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, therefore, merely because petitioner’s claim was not allowed, cannot be termed as willful disobedience of the order. 6. The contempt petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Contempt notice issued to the respondent is hereby discharged.
