GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.9859 of 2019 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to transfer FIR No. 79 of 2019 from the file of Chebrole Police Station to the file of H Town Police Station, Eluru, as the said police station has territorial jurisdiction over the place where the death of the petitioner’s son occurred, and for a further direction to expedite the investigation in the said case and file a report before the concerned Court in accordance with Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 2. Heard Sri K. Prudhvi Raj, learned counsel representing Sri Turaga Sai Surya, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri R. Mallikarjuna Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, representing respondent Nos. 1 to 5. Perused the letter addressed by the learned Principal District Judge, West Godavari, Eluru, dated 18.12.2025, to the Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Andhra Pradesh. 3. It is submitted that a case has been registered as S.C. No. 217 of 2025 on 17.12.2025 and made over to the learned XI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tadepalligudem, for disposal in 4 accordance with law. Instructions were issued to the concerned staff for submission/re-submission of records, and office orders were passed on 31.07.2025, 23.09.2025, and 17.10.2025. 4. Further, in view of the report submitted by the learned I Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Tadepalligudem, the Court of the learned Principal District Judge, West Godavari, Eluru, issued official memos calling for explanations from the staff concerned and issued instructions to the officers regarding submission of PRC records. 5. In view of the above developments, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission, without going into the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
