The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dassam Fall P.S. Case No. 25 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.722 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.303 of 2024), for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201/ 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-XVII, Ranchi. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.6704 of 2024 by order dated 27.08.2024. On 22.11.2023, brother of the informant namely Suresh Hazam went missing. He was having affairs with the daughter of the petitioner. The petitioner was apprehended during the course of investigation. On his confession, the axe which was used in committing the murder of the deceased was recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since last one and half years. It was further submitted that the prosecution has not examined a single witness. It was finally submitted that the deceased was caught raid handed with the petitioner in compromising possession due to which the occurrence had taken place. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
