GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent more particularly 4th and 5th respondents in not completing the investigation in crime No.23 of 2025 on the file of Gunadala Police Station(5th respondent) Dated.21-02-2025 and in Crime No.88/2025 on the file of Gunadala Police Station (5th respondent) dated.07-07-2025 as illegal, arbitrary, 2 unconstitutional and violation of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents more particularly 4th and 5threspondents to complete the investigation in crime No.23 of 2025 on the file of Gunadala Police Station(5th respondent) Dated 21-02-2025 and in Crime No.88/2025 on the file of Gunadala Police Station (5th respondent) dated.07-07-2025 and for other incidental relief.” 2. Sri Challa Ajay Kumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, despite registration of Crime No.23 of 2025 on the file of Gunadala Police Station for the offences under Sections 329(3), 324(4) and 292 read with 3(5) of BNS, the Police did not choose to conclude the investigation and file a report. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the investigation in the said crime is almost completed and the Police may file report in this matter as early as possible. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2025 on the file of Gunadala Police Station and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
