GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in opening and continuing the Rowdy Sheet against the Petitioner in Respondent No.4 Police station by virtue of proceedings in C.No.65/SDPO-RPL/ H.S/ 2023, dated 06.07.2023, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14, 19 and 21 of Indian Constitution 2 and to consequently direct the Respondents to discontinue the Rowdy Sheet vide No.54 against the Petitioner.” 2. Ms.S.Mahaswetha Varma, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, no cases are pending against the Petitioner and hence, the impugned rowdy sheet may be set aside. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that there are no cases pending against the Petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made and since no material is placed before the Court to show that the behavior of the Petitioner is a threat to the public peace in the vicinity, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
