Anjaneyalu GP for Endowments CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN DATE : 30th December 2025 P C : Learned counsel for the appellant states that there were two issues raised in the writ petition, which led to passing of the judgment and order impugned, dated 06.04.2016, and those were, firstly, with regard to the authority of the Assistant Commissioner in declaring the appellant herein as a founder trustee, which the learned single Judge held that the authority lay not with the Assistant Commissioner but with the Deputy Commissioner of Endowments. 2. It is stated that subsequently the Deputy Commissioner passed separate orders declaring the appellant herein to be the founder trustee of all the eight temples and therefore that the controversy has been given a quietus. 3. The other issue that fell for consideration before the learned single Judge was with regard to whether the eight temples could have been administered through one Executive Officer. It is stated that the appellant however does not wish to challenge the finding recorded by the learned single Judge on that issue. 4. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the appellant does not wish to pursue this writ appeal any longer. The same is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
