JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ------ For the Petitioner : M/s. Vijay Kr Roy, Advocate For the State : M/s. Rakesh Kumar Sinha, A.P.P. ----- 02/24.03.2025 Heard the parties 2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 304 of 2014 arising out of Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 140 of 2014 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 1904 of 2014 and POCSO Case No. 20 of 2014, for the offences registered under Sections 376 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act. 3. This is a case of misuse of the privilege of bail for about eight years. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has himself surrendered before the Court below and has remained in custody for about six months. 5. Considering the long period of misuse, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. 6. The petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after six months. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
