GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not renewing the petitioner's arms licence bearing No.32/8ATP/in Volume-ll, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Provisions of Arms Act and Arms Rules and consequently direct the respondents to renew the petitioner's arms licence bearing No.32/8ATP/in Volume-ll, from 10-03-2017 to till date of Anantapuramu District.” 2 2. Sri M.B.Thimma Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that it is a matter of renewal of arms licence of the Petitioner. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the representation of the Petitioner for renewal of his gun licence was rejected by the Respondents on 28.04.20178 due to lack of specific threat to the Petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh application, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
