It is the case of the petitioner that an Indian made foreign liquor shop has been opened in Ranipokhri, which is against the Excise Policy. The petitioner seeks directions that in this regard the excise policy may be followed. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already given a representation to the respondent no.2/District Magistrate, Dehradun, who has already sought enquiry report after measurements. He would submit that directions may be issued to the respondent no.2/District Magistrate, Dehradun to consider the representation within a time bound manner. Learned State Counsel gives a statement that the representation that may be given by the petitioner shall be decided within six weeks.
