Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 3. The contention of the petitioner is that he is a pattadar and that he made application on 21.04.2025 for mutation of his name for grant of E-Pattadar Passbook, adangal and pahani. Despite the lapse of eight (08) months, the respondents have neither considered the application nor passed any orders thereon. Hence, the present writ petition. 4. In reply to the contentions, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions from the 4th respondent, submitted that 4 the respondents have not denied the grant of patta to the petitioner, However, it is stated that the petitioner had sold the subject property along with possession to third parties through an unregistered sale deed, and based on the said unregistered sale deed, the name of the third party was recorded in the adangal. Accordingly, the authorities have initiated an enquiry. In view of the pendency of the said enquiry, the application filed by the petitioner has not been considered within time. 5. Considering the submissions made by both the learned counsel, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case. The respondents, more particularly the 4th respondent, are directed to consider the application made by the petitioner on 21.04.2025, conclude the enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of the order. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
