GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.9864 of 2019 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent not to interfere in any manner with the petitioner’s property bearing Door No. 7-22, Duvvada, Sector-I, Visakhapatnam. 2. Heard Sri G. Saideep, learned counsel representing Sri V.V. Satish, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri R. Mallikarjuna Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, representing respondent Nos. 1 to 4. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home placed on record the written instructions dated 29.07.2019 and submitted that upon receipt of the petition from the 6th respondent on 17.07.2019, an entry was made in the Station General Diary at 20:00 hours on the same day. To verify the complaint, the petitioner was contacted over the phone, and both parties appeared before the Station House Officer and produced their documents. After perusal of the same, the dispute was found to be civil in nature, and both parties were advised to seek redressal before the competent civil court. Accordingly, a receipt was issued to the 6th respondent, and an entry was made in the Non- Cognizable Register on 17.07.2019. 4 4. It was further submitted that no case has been registered against the petitioner and that the police have not interfered with the rights or possession of the subject property. Except for advising the parties to approach the competent court, the police have not misused their official position. Hence, it was prayed that the writ petition be dismissed. 5. In light of the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission, without going into the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
