ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed seeking a declaration that the action of the 2nd respondent in not declaring the interview result of the petitioner held on 16.02.2016 for the post of Anganwadi Worker, Garikavalasa-I, Gurla Mandal, Vizianagaram District, and the impugned proceedings vide No. 72/2018 dated 30.08.2018 of the 4th respondent appointing the 5th respondent as Anganwadi Worker, Garikavalasa-I, Gurla Mandal, Vizianagaram District, are illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, directing the 2nd respondent to declare the result of the interview held on 16.02.2016 and appoint the petitioner.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Assistant Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare, representing respondent Nos. 1 to 4; and Smt. Pulipati Radhika,
learned counsel for the 5th respondent.

Learned counsel for the 5th respondent placed before this Court a letter from the Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project, Garividi, Vizianagaram District, dated 14.08.2025, and submitted that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Anganwadi Worker at
4 Garikavalasa-II Anganwadi Center, Gurla Mandal, Vizianagaram District, by proceedings Rc. No. 06/2025 dated 14.05.2025. She further submitted that the 4th respondent continues to hold the post of Anganwadi Worker, Garikavalasa-I, Gurla Mandal, Vizianagaram District.
4. In light of the submissions made by learned counsel for the 5th respondent, no further orders are required in the writ petition.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission, without going into the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
