The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 40 of 2023 (N.D.P.S. Case No.222 of 2024) for the offences registered under sections 15, 17, 18, 22, 27(A), 28, 29, 30 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS, Chatra. 99.6 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the house of the petitioner. Quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of commercial quantity. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since last six months. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
