Heard Mr. S. Biswas, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant as well as Mr. K.K. Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.
2. This application has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 praying for condonation of delay of 485 days in preferring the appeal.
3. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides.
4. The applicant is still in jail and from jail he has filed the connected appeal.
5. The ground shown in the application is found to be satisfactory.
