Present appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 11.9.1991 passed by Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Allahabad in S.T. No. 111 of 1988 (State vs. Munna and others) convicting and sentencing the appellant under Section 302 IPC for life imprisonment. 2. As per Office report dated 17.2.2025 based on the report dated 1.10.2024 submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Prayagraj the sole appellant, namely, Munna @ Israr Ahmad died on 6.12.2020. 3. We have gone through the report dated 1.10.2024 and the death certificate of the sole appellant and the statement of Mohd. Imran and Mohd. Zeeshan, maternal nephews of the sole appellant according to which the sole appellant was living in Gujarat and died on 6.12.2020. 4. Accordingly, present appeal stands abated.
