Order: The Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, ‘the BNSS’), by the Petitioners/A2 and A3, seeking quashment of proceedings against them in Crime No.247 of 2020 of Medikonduru Police Station, Guntur Urban District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 269, 272, 273 and 420 IPC and Section 8(c) of the NDPS Act read with 34 IPC read with 20(b) NDPS Act.
2. Heard Sri D.Kasi Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Ms.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that except the case relating to Ganja of 2Kgs for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b) of the NDPS Act, the other offences are relating to transporting of Tobacco products and it is covered by a common order passed by this Court in Crl.P.No.2966 of 2021 and batch.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is completed in this matter by deleting the sections under IPC and the charge sheet is filed for the offences under NDPS Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of.

6. Recording the submissions made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petitions is disposed of.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
