In the instant petition, the petitioner herein is seeking a direction upon the respondents to issue formal certificate of registration in favour of the petitioner-Hotel under the name and style of ‘Manzoor Shariq Hotels and Resorts Private Limited’ situated at M. A. Raod, Srinagar, in tune with the mandate of the J&K Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1978. 2. The petitioner is the Managing Director of Private Limited Company being run under the name and style of ‘Manzoor Shariq Hotels and resorts Private Limited’ and the said Company is duly registered with the Registrar of Companies, Jammu and Kashmir Under Corporate identity number U5510UK2012PTC003278 in Serial No. 48 Supplementary Cause List Shaista Rashid Shah I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document 15.01.2025 14:14 terms of the certificate of incorporation issued on 5th of November, 2012. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite having raised the construction on a Nazool land after obtaining sanction from the competent authority, and after submitting all the requisite documents before the respondents, they have not issued formal certificate of registration in favour of the hotel of the petitioner till date though he is having the deemed registration in terms of the Act of 1978. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would feel satisfied if the instant petition is disposed with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner by taking into consideration all the relevant documents which he has placed on record with the instant writ petition within a reasonable period of time. Mr. Hakim Aman Ali, learned Dy.AG appearing on behalf of respondents is not averse to the preposition made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the claim of the petitioner for issuance of the formal certificate of registration in favour of the petitioner’s hotel under the name and style of ‘Manzoor Shariq Hotels and resorts Private Limited’ situated at M. A. Road, Srinagar strictly in tune with the mandate of the J&K Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1978, within a period of four Shaista Rashid Shah I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document 15.01.2025 14:14 weeks from the date copy of this order along with the annexures of this writ petition are made available to the respondents by the petitioner. 6.
