The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the prayer to direct the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Kanpur Division, Kanpur to decide the Restoration Application dated 01.08.2024 filed in Appeal No.132 of 2022 expeditiously. 4. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the aforesaid appeal was dismissed for want of prosecution on 05.07.2024. It is argued that for recall of the aforesaid order, the petitioner has filed the restoration application on 01.08.2024. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 6. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Kanpur Division, Kanpur to decide the Restoration Application filed in the aforesaid appeal strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy before him but without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
