Case No. 100 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 506 & 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri P. N. Upadhyay, learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamau. On the pretext of marriage, petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix, who is aged about 27 years. Later on, petitioner refused to marry her. It appears that the parties were in relationship for 10 years. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri P.
