WPSS No.710 of 2025 Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J. Mr. Anup Kumar Verma, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. N.S. Pundir, Deputy Advocate General for the State. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he may be permitted to make a representation to the respondent no.1, State of Uttarakhand for her transfer under Section 36, 17(b)(5) of the Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants Act, 2017 on the ground that she is a widow and has two minor children. He would further submit that the respondents may be
directed to decide the representation within time bound manner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would also submit that, in fact, earlier also the petitioner made some representations, which were never decided by the respondents. He restricts his prayer to this extent only. Learned State Counsel would submit that, in case, such a representation is made by the petitioner, it shall be decided within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by the learned State counsel. The petition stands disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent no.1 within a period of 07 days from today. In case, if such a representation is made, the respondent no.1 is further directed to decide it within a period of four weeks, in accordance with law.
