ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the Thasildar, Vizianagaram in conducting enquiry on petitioner’s representation dated 4.8.2025 by considering the documents annexed with the representation as
directed by the 2nd respondent vide Rc No. 2746/2025/F2 dated 05-08-2025 is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the 5th respondent to conduct an enquiry on my representation dated 4.8.2025 as directed by the 2nd respondent vide Rc No. 2746/2025/F2 dated 05.8.2025 and mutate the petitioner’s name in revenue records pertaining to land as stated in my representation dated 4.8.2025 forthwith in the interest of justice….”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.
3. Considering the request made by the petitioner, the District Collector has issued instructions to the 5th respondent vide letter dated 05.08.2025. Despite the same, the 5th respondent has not

passed any orders by mutating the name of the petitioner in revenue records.
4. Considering the submissions and on perusal of the instructions issued by the District Collector on 05.08.2025, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 5th respondent to consider the instructions of the District Collector dated 05.08.2025 and take appropriate action within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________ JUSTICE D.RAMESH
