Dr.YLR,J Crl.P.No.13339 of 2025 The Court made the following ORDER: This criminal petition is filed Challenging the order dated 08.12.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1204 of 2025 in Cr.No.241 of 2025 of Chodavaram Police Station by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge – Special Judge for Trial of Offences under NDPS Act, Visakhapatnam wherein and whereunder the petitioner was directed to execute a bond of Rs.10 lakhs for interim custody of the vehicle and also a bank guarantee to that effect.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the value of the vehicle is not even more than Rs.5 lakhs at present and the condition imposed by the learned trial court is on higher side and if the vehicle is kept in the police custody exposing to light, wind and rain, the vehicle would be damaged.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the criminal petition is disposed of and the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.3 lakhs with one surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Chodavaram and the petitioner shall also furnish a bank guarantee for Rs.2 lakhs. The rest of the conditions imposed by the learned trial court shall be complied with scrupulously.
