Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Umesh Chandra Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent No.4 and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondent and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 21.02.2025, registered as Case Crime No.0113 of 2025, under Sections- 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC and Section 12 of Passport Act, 1967, Police Station Badhalganj, District Gorakhpur and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance of impugned FIR. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to the allegations against the petitioner of getting two passports on the basis of different name etc., police is investigating the matter. 4. Learned A.G.A. has not objected to the same. 5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing that till submission of police report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C., the respondents are restrained from arresting the petitioner pursuant to the impugned First Information Report, subject to cooperation in ongoing investigation.
