The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus by directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.06.2025 given to the respondent 1 and 4 vide Annexure-D and E by allowing the application in the ends of justice and equity. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:11527 WP No. 105737 of 2025 ii) Issue any other appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case and pass such other suitable order/s or directions as deems fit in the ends of justice. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the authorisation bearing No. 131, granted in favour of his father to run a fair price shop, has not been renewed or transferred to the petitioner following the death of his father on 29.03.2024. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.06.2025 at Annexure- D and E. 3. Whenever any representation is submitted by a citizen to an authority, it is the duty of that authority to consider the same in accordance with law, either accepting or rejecting the request, and pass an order within a reasonable time.
