HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU CPSW No. 763/2018 in SWP No. 588/2006 Javed Iqbal …..Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s) Through: None. vs Ajeet Kumar Sahu & Ors. .…. Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG. CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE M A CHOWDHARY, JUDGE ORDER (28.05.2025) 1. Learned counsel for respondents submits that the subject matter of this petition has been settled by the Apex Court in case titled Mohd Shabir & Anr. Vs. State of J&K & Ors. bearing SLP(Civil) No. 718-720/2022 and in compliance to the order passed by the Apex Court, the petitioner has been retained/re-employed, however, without having been entitled to emoluments during the period of his service as held by the Apex Court. 2. Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, it appears that non-representation on behalf of the petitioner is primarily due to the fact that this petition has become infructuous due to the compliance of the Apex Court judgment. Since the grievance of the petitioner seems to have been satisfied, however, in case of any surviving grievance, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of the petition. 3. Disposed of.
