Crl.OP.No.15391 of 2025 The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 420 r/w 34 and 120(B) of IPC and Section 5 of TNPID Act, 1997, in Crime No.10 of 2024, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused, in the guise of running a Company in the name of V4V Enterprises promised that, if anybody deposits Rs.1 lakh, they would be given Rs.20,000/- per month. Thereby, the petitioner has induced the defacto complainant to invest Rs.9,00,000/- and cheated him. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's name does not finds place in the FIR and he was only implicated by way of a confession statement of co-accused.
