The present writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief :- "A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus and direct the respondent no. 2 to provide the payment of Sugarcane of Session 2024-25 to the petitioners from the respondent no. 3." Shri Ravindra Singh, Advocate, represents the Cooperative Cane Development Union Limited Powayan, Shahjahanpur, which has not been impleaded as respondent No. 4 in the present case. However, the petitioners are the members of the aforesaid Cane Society. Shri Ravindra Singh, Advocate states that recovery certificate has been issued by the Cane Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow for recovery of the amount due on respondent No. 3, i.e., Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Ltd., Maksudapur, Tehsil-Powayan, District-Shahjahanpur. The recovery certificate has to be executed by the Collector, Shahjahanpur. Counsel for the petitioners is permitted to implead Collector, Shahjahanpur as respondent No. 4 during the course of the day itself. The Collector, Shahjahanpur is directed to ensure that the recovery certificate dated 26.5.2025 issued by the Cane Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow for recovery of the amount due on Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Ltd., Maksudapur, Tehsil-Powayan, District-Shahjahanpur, i.e., respondent No. 3 be executed through a recovery citation within a period of three months from today. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. A copy of this order shall be sent to the Collector, Shahjahanpur through the Registrar (Compliance) within 24 hours.
