By means of the present criminal writ petition, petitioner has challenged the FIR No.260 dated 25.07.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 342, 354, 420, 504 and 506 IPC, P.S. Kichha, Tehsil Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar. 4. It is contended by the learned counsel for the State that after investigation, charge- sheet has been submitted against the petitioner on 16.06.2024, therefore, this writ petition has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous. 5. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the State, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum. 6. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
