It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has made an application for extension of firearm license in whole U.P. on 28.08.2023 before respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Prayagraj. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decisis has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that in case, the petitioner has made fresh representation before the respondent No.2, he will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4.Heard learned cousnel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit fresh representation before the respondent No.2 along with necessary papers and documents as well as certified copy of this order within two weeks from today. In case, the petitioner do so, the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Prayagraj will take a decision in the matter most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
