By way of this petition, the petitioner her termination vide order dated 17.02.2024, more particularly on the ground that the petitioner could have been accommodated in some other Anganwadi where there was a vacancy. 3. Considering the submissions made by learned Advocate Ms. Mandavia for the respondents No. 2 and 3 that the policy for appointment Anganwadi Helpers/Anganwadi Workers inter alia requires the candidate concerned to be residing in the same village where the Anganwadi is situated and whereas, since the same would prohibit the respondents from considering the case of the petitioner for appointment in any other Anganwadi and further considering the fact that the petitioner had given an undertaking that she would abide by the order of the respondents, upon C/SCA/13214/2024 ORDER DATED: 18/07/2025 the person whose termination had resulted in a vacancy being reappointed pursuant to orders of this Court, learned Advocate Mr. Majmudar would fairly submit that grievance of the petitioner could be assuaged if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment in the same Anganwadi, in case any vacancy arises in future. 4. Having regard to the submissions made by learned Advocate Mr. Majmudar, to this Court, the following directions would meet with the ends of justice. (i) The respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner for appointment in the very Anganwadi, if any vacancy arises in the said Anganwadi in future, subject to the condition that the petitioner fulfills all the requirements as per the policy of the State Government in vogue at that relevant point of time. 5.
