Side) ORDER The petitioners, apprehend arrest for the alleged offences under Section 5(I), 5(J)(II), 6 and 17 of POCSO Act in Crime No.24 of 2025, on the file of the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 15285 of 2025 respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the the A1 alleged had a physical relationship with the victim girl aged about 19 years, promising to marry her, resulting in her pregnancy. When the victim girl informed the accused about her pregnancy, he disappeared and did not fulfil his promise of marriage. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Now, petitioners are ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, the learned counsel prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution's case and stated that the victim girl delivered a baby and produced the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 183 of BNSS and stating the gravity of the offence committed by the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 15285 of 2025 petitioners, vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6. Considering the gravity of offence, and considering the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 183 of BNSS, and the stage of investigation and other circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioners. 7.
