Petitioners have been made an accused in connection with Sessions Trial Case No. 697 of 2023, arising out of Silli P.S. Case No. 54 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2110 of 2023, for the offence registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-V, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioners were earlier rejected by co-ordinate bench of this court vide B.A. No. 881 of 2024 & B.A. No. 933 of 2024 respectively by order dated 02.09.2024. On 22.06.2023 at about 6:00 P.M., petitioners along with the co-accused persons had caught hold of the husband of the informant Asni Munda and thereafter co-accused Basudeo Munda, inflicted several knife blows due to which he succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that the petitioners are in custody for more than one and half years. It was further submitted that there is a specific allegation of assault against co-accused Basudeo Munda. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court earlier. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioners named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-V, Ranchi in connection with Sessions Trial Case No. 697 of 2023, arising out of Silli P.S.
